My previous Shearling coat lasted about 10 years of everyday wear in sometimes harsh environmentsin Berlin. I expect the same from the new one. All that I would expect and more. For outside work in North Germany, I wear a field jacket liner or sweatshirt under it. And then it will can be warm enough to avoid hurt myself. (Posted on 12/1/14)
